About
Aksharam is building captions for the way India speaks: in its own scripts, mixed with English, and styled for the platforms creators post on.
Most caption tools learned English first, then stretched to fit India. Telugu letters break apart, Kannada names come out wrong, and Hindi turns into guesswork. Creators end up typing captions by hand or posting without them.
We started with Telugu and Kannada because that's where the gap is widest, then added Hindi and English so one tool covers a creator's whole audience.
aksharam Noun, from Sanskrit
1. A letter or syllable. Every Indian script is built from aksharas.
2. That which does not perish.
We named the company after both meanings.
Styles and fonts are chosen for Telugu, Kannada and Devanagari, not adapted from English afterwards.
You can edit every word and every timing before anything is exported.
Raw uploads are deleted 7 days after export. Your corrections help improve accuracy only if you agree.
